Important Messages From The School District
The school district has asked us to share the following information with parents/guardians: Text Party Flyer and CCSD/Metro: Safety.

Parent Link

ParentLink is a web and telephone based technology provided by Parlant Technology. It was designed to give parents and students access to grades, assignments, attendance, student information, and school information in a secure and confidential fashion. Stop by the Lummis office with identification for your log-in and password if you student is currently a student at Lummis.

The specific information that ParentLink offers in these areas includes:

Grades: Up-to-date progress reports are provided for every class. A parent or student may even view grade history from previous semesters or years. Good and poor grade thresholds can be tracked easily and communicated with parents.

Assignments: Future assignments and assignment scores are available for any class.

Attendance: Schools can communicate any type of attendance violation to parents, including absence, tardiness, and other concerns the school needs to share with parents.

Contact Information: Teachers and parents are able to manage their own personal information such as addresses, phone numbers, and passwords.

School Information: Schools can utilize ParentLink to send custom messages to parents, or post for inbound access regarding school activities.

Please click on the ParentLink logo above to visit their website. If you have any questions send an email to
ParentLink Questions.

Friendly School Reminders

Safety continues to be a focus each day at our school. We’d like to take this opportunity to provide a few reminders for all of our families
· Make a plan with your child(ren) each day for the end of school. Children should know how they are getting home each day.
· Before and after school are busy times. Please observe all driving laws: no illegal u-turns, yield to pedestrians in crosswalks, no jaywalking, only park in designated areas (do not park in the red zones), and obey speed limits.
· Do not use your cell phone while in the school zone during busy times.
· All students exit through the back of the building onto the playground area.
· Please do not ask your child to go through the courtyard to meet you in the front of the school. Teachers have been asked to exit all students through the playground area.
· Parents should wait outside of the school for their child(ren). Please do not wait in great rooms or the courtyard.
These reminders are for the safety of all students and staff and your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Keeping The Lines Of Communication Open

PARENTS: We encourage you to keep the lines of communication flowing between home and school. To help facilitate that, the school district is providing the following document that addresses the best procedure to follow when you have a question or concern.

How Can I Add Funds To My Child's Lunch Account?
Is your child tired of standing in line to pay for his/her lunch with cash? Schoolpassport.com is a great way to access the funds in your child's lunch account on-line. You can pay with a credit card, check your child's balance or review what your child is eating. It's a great "back up plan" to insure your child has funds for lunch if he/she accidentally forgets to bring a lunch from home.  |  WEBSITE LINK
